Pastor Joel Fick was born and raised in Southern California. He and his wife Marianne have four children. Pastor Fick is an ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church and received his Master of Divinity degree from  Westminster Seminary California, where he studied under scholars such as Dr. Michael Horton, Dr. W. Robert Godfrey, and Dr. Meredith G. Kline.
